# Selling an item

## Overview

Learn how to sell an item on the DG Live Marketplace using the same grouping format as buying.<br>

### Steps

1. Navigate to the DG Live website.
2. Click on the **Marketplace** button in the header to open the drop-down menu.
3. Click on **Sell** to view your eligible items for sale.
4. Items are first displayed as collections grouped by their NFT addresses. Click on a collection to view the NFTs within it.
5. NFTs within a collection are displayed in resource groups, based on their image, name, and NFT address. This grouping makes it easier to navigate collections with many items.
6. Select the items you wish to sell, which may include multiple copies of the same item within a resource group, making it convenient for mass selling.
7. Set the desired price for your items and click **List for Sale** to make them available on the DG Live Marketplace.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://dg-market.gitbook.io/dg-live/marketplace/selling-an-item.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
