Place an item for sale
In this new section of the documentation, we'll guide you through the process of placing an item for sale in your metaverse store using DG Live. Follow these simple steps:
Place the item for sale on the web: Go to https://dglive.org/marketplace/sell and choose which items from a collection you want to place for sale.
Go to the Business Manager: Select your scene and click on "Scene Marketplace".
Create a new slot: Click on "New Slot". A slot is a space in the virtual world that will hold your item.
Configure the slot: Give your slot a name for future reference, set the status to 'enable', and fill in the position, size, and rotation information, or leave the default values and adjust them later using the joystick.
Select your NFT: Click on "Select your NFT". A modal will appear displaying all available items for sale on the marketplace. Choose the item you placed for sale in step 1. Use the search tool on the left for easier navigation.
Set the Follow Wallet option: This optional field allows you to decide whether to display all offerings for the same item or only the ones you own.
Save your changes.
Load your scene: Use the command
dcl start --web3. Refer to the "Creating a Decentraland Scene" section if you need assistance.Adjust the item's position: In the Business Manager, open the "Scene Marketplace" tab, locate the three vertical dots next to your slot, click on them, and select "Joystick". Use the joystick to move, scale, or rotate your item. Save your changes when done.
